Income from this fund is distributed annually to Family and Children's Service.
Ivin S. and Virginia D. Bear Fund
Ivin S. and Virginia D. Bear were lifelong residents of central PA. Their scholarships help qualified area students attend secondary and post-secondary institutions. A restricted component of this fund supports Presbyterian Homes.
Janna April Becker Memorial Fund Project
Established in memory of Janna April Becker, who passed away in 2002 at only 15 years old. She died of an undiagnosed heart disorder called Long QT Syndrome. The specific purposes of the project are: 1) to award scholarships in recognition of academic achievement and personal character, and to support student participation in some of Janna's favorite activities; 2) to promote awareness of Long QT Syndrome among medical professionals and the general public, and to support scientific research in this and related areas; and 3) to establish a physical memorial for Janna in the Greater Harrisburg area which will be artistically and environmentally compatible with its surroundings.
Bethesda Mission Fund
This orgnizational endowment supports the efforts of Bethesda Mission in providing food and shelter year-round to individuals in Harrisburg and outlying rural areas.
The Big Serve
The purpose of this project is to provide the necessary funds/programs for youth tennis players to meet and exceed their tennis and educational dreams.
Josephine S. Brenner Fund
Established by Josephine Brenner in 1991, this fund is designated for the benefit of the homeless, education, and the arts.
