The Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania Fund
This fund was established to support services for those in our communities who suffer from kidney disease. Programs supported by this fund include: 1) grants to assist kidney patients in financial crisis; 2) educational programs including workshops, organ-donor awareness programs, and support groups; 3) higher education scholarships for students with kidney failure and/or their family members; and 4) mentor training and partnering programs.
The Kids Trust Fund
The Kids Trust is a fund created by and in memory of Gary L. Houck Jr. The purpose is to help young children of abuse grow up in a safe, happy, and exciting environment. The fund will consider grant proposals from agencies serving abused children.
Florence E. Kildare Fund
Harrison C. Kildare created this fund as a tribute to his wife's compassion for others. It supports Mechanicsburg-based programs serving people with terminal and debilitating illnesses, especially Alzheimer's Disease.
Walter Kronicz Memorial Fund
The South Central Pennsylvania Food Bank initiated this fund in memory of Walter Kronicz, its former Executive Director. The fund supports the Food Bank.
Dr. George B. Kunkel Memorial Fund #2
Dr. Kunkel was a lifelong resident of Harrisburg, practicing medicine and surgery for many years. This fund supports city parks maintenance and beautification, and services to the disabled, two of Dr. Kunkel's interests.
Samuel B. Kunkel (Romper Day) Fund
Samuel Kunkel was a founder of Mechanics Trust Company located in the building now known as the Kunkel Building. Mr. Kunkel's fund supports a children's outing and the United Way of the Capital Region.
