The Dorcas M. Leaman "Wings from Heaven Breast Cancer Foundation"
The Dorcas M. Leaman "Wings from Heaven Breast Cancer Foundation" was established in April 2006 with one vision in mind, to serve as a ministry to bring awareness to women about the need to protect themselves from breast cancer. The foundation helps women who may not be able to afford their yearly mammogram pay for this procedure. "Early detection" is the most critical part of breast cancer. We provide funds for the necessary essentials such as wigs, breast prosthetics, or any other necessary items needed for the patient during the radiation and chemotherapy process when a woman feels most vulnerable. In addition, we continue to support the cure for breast cancer research.
